Danielle and Callum were staying at a cottage at Seahouses when we scheduled our engagement photo session. Bamburgh Castle and beach were just up the coast and it was a location I had been looking for an excuse to shoot in for some time. This was the perfect opportunity!
As Danielle and Callum were such a relaxed and laid back couple, I was able to experiment a little with smoke bombs, prisms, shooting into the sun and all sorts of other things. Not everything worked, but we had a fun time. That is one of the things I love most about this type of engagement shoot - the sense of adventure!
I hope that 2016 sees me photographing lots more engagements and weddings with couples like Danielle and Callum.
