We had a family day out at Eshottheugh Animal Park in Northumberland yesterday.
It's been a tough (but rewarding) few weeks since George was born; both children have had chicken pox, we have a referral for George's reflux at the hospital, and all four of us were ill with the same cold for two weeks.
We all needed to get out of the house and have some fun.
Audrey loved Eshottheugh. She was excited to feed the animals and ride on the tractors, and it was great for us to get some fresh air, despite the persistant drizzle.
It was also a great opportunity for me to put my new Fuji X-Pro2 and 35mm f2 through their paces. I shot in raw and converted the photographs to either Velvia or Acros in Lightroom.
Here are the resulting photographs.
I was very pleased with the overall feel of the camera and the subsequent photographs. It is clear that I need to practice a lot more in order to fully master it. Expect to see a lot more test photographs with my Fuji cameras and lenses over the next few weeks as I get to grips with the new system.
