I met Kyra and Kev at a wedding fair organised by Brides up North at The Alnwick Garden. They were getting married at that venue and we clicked right away, so much so that they hired me and paid the booking fee on the spot! With their wedding photography in Northumberland sorted, we could move on to planning their pre-wedding photo shoot elsewhere in the North East.
I include an engagement photo session in all my wedding packages as I think that they are a vital step in ensuring that the wedding photos are exactly what the couple want. The couple can get in front of the camera, see some awesome photos even if they were nervous on the day, and be assured that their wedding photography is in great hands. We also start building up our relationship which is at least as important as the photographs themselves. You're not going to enjoy your wedding day much if you hate your photographer and he is shadowing you for 10+ hours on one of the most important days of your life!
Kyra and Kev rocked their pre-wedding shoot at Druridge Bay on the Northumberland coast, despite the fact that a storm was blowing in. We had already had to cancel more than once as the weather was atrocious, but this time we pressed ahead and were rewarded with some dramatic skies.
I love brave couples!
